What counts as a volunteer?

Unique team members across your Planning Center Services teams — the same way Planning Center counts people for its own pricing. Someone on three teams counts once. We check the count automatically; you never report numbers to us.

What happens if we grow past our plan?

Nothing abrupt. When your volunteer count passes your tier's limit, you get a 14-day grace period with everything still running, plus a banner suggesting the right tier. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe.

Why is SMS only on Branch?

Text messages carry real per-message carrier costs, so we include the SMS channel on the unlimited tier rather than pricing it into every plan. Email confirmations, reminders, and swaps are included everywhere — SMS adds a second channel for teams that live in their texts.

Can we cancel anytime? What happens to our data?

Cancel in two clicks from the billing portal — no phone call, no retention flow. And because everything we schedule lands directly in Planning Center, your schedules, teams, and volunteers are exactly where they've always been. We never hold your data hostage.

Is there a discount for small or church-plant budgets?

The annual option is two months free. If you're a church plant where even Seed is a stretch, write to us — we'd rather find something that works than see you go back to Saturday-night texting.
